Current customers can call 1-866-445-8084 to ensure that service is deactivated at your existing address, and ready to go at your new address.
If you are moving to a new location and keeping Kinetic service you will want to bring your modem, the power cords, and the ethernet cord with you. The technician installing your service will help you install it at the new location. If you are moving to an area we do not service, upon disconnection we will send you a return kit to ship your modem back to us.
Generally, we can move internet services within a few days of your request. We do suggest that when you know where and when you are going to need the service moved, call us within 30 days of your move. We will then be able to process your move order request and give you the soonest date that we can install the service at your new location or schedule it to be installed on a date you prefer.
There is no charge to move your service.
To set up your internet service move, just call Kinetic at 1-844-798-8891 or check service availability online. We'll walk you through the steps to transfer your existing service or start fresh at your new address, with flexible installation options that work with your schedule.
In most cases, yes—you can keep your current Kinetic plan and promotion when you move, as long as the same service is available at your new address. Our team will confirm availability and help ensure you keep the plan that fits your needs.
If there’s a gap between moving out and moving in, Kinetic can help you schedule installation for your move-in date in advance. That way, your internet will be ready when you are. Just let us know your timeline and we’ll help plan accordingly.
Plans change—and that’s okay. If you need to adjust your installation date or update your order, contact Kinetic customer support as soon as possible. We’ll work with you to reschedule and make sure your internet is ready when you need it.
If Kinetic isn’t available at your new location, we’ll help you explore alternative options and guide you through canceling your current service without hassle. We’re always expanding, so be sure to check availability before your move.
